The Entrepreneurship and Career Talk, organized by the Entrepreneurship and Career Community and hosted by the Department of Business Administration, was successfully held on Tuesday, November 25 at 15:30 in the Sabri Bektöre Conference Hall.

The guest speaker, Âliye Mete Sert, Operations Manager at KomboBit Software Mining Marble R&D Consultancy Education Foreign Trade Ltd. and Manager of the LAKSİS Platform, met with our students with her presentation titled:
“We Once Sat in Those Seats! Then We Reached Society: The Role of Students in Social Entrepreneurship.”

During her talk, Sert emphasized that the student years provide an important foundation for social entrepreneurship. She shared her own entrepreneurial journey, the opportunities she encountered, and her experiences in creating social impact.

Students gained valuable insights into the relationship between social entrepreneurship and the business world, developing socially impactful projects, and incorporating an entrepreneurial mindset into their career planning.

The event offered an inspiring and informative experience, contributing significantly to the entrepreneurial awareness and career development of our Business Administration students.
