The seminar titled “Investing in My Career”, organized by the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS), Afyon Kocatepe University (AKU), was successfully held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the Prof. Dr. Sabri Bektöre Conference Hall with strong participation.
The seminar featured Ahmet Ocak, CEO of Özpet Global, as the guest speaker, while the session was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Ender Baykut, a faculty member of AKU FEAS.
During the program, Ahmet Ocak shared his insights and experiences on career planning, career opportunities in finance and investment, the importance of competencies in corporate life, and professional development recommendations for students. He particularly emphasized the critical impact of making the right career investments during university years on long-term professional success.
Throughout the seminar, students’ questions were addressed, and practical guidance was provided for young individuals aiming for a career in the investment sector. The event proved to be highly productive in increasing students’ awareness of the business world and strengthening university–industry interaction.
The program concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to Assoc. Prof. Ender Baykut and Ahmet Ocak by Assoc. Prof. Hale Fulya Kaya, Vice Dean of FEAS, followed by a group photo session.
